On this edition of “OWWR Spotlight”, OWWR’s DJ Sandra Dee featured AHRC Nassau. AHRC Nassau is an organization that assists with over 2,200 people in Nassau County to help those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We spoke with the President of the Board of Directors, Saundra M. Gumerove, Quality Enhancement Advocate and Trainer of AHRC Nassau, Matt Hofele, and Chief Administrative Officer of AHRC Nassau, Barry Donowitz. We discussed how communities can help get involved with AHRC and about their Fall for All Festival at Wheatley Farms Harvest Festival on September 30th.
