OWWR, Old Westbury Web Radio teamed up with The Downtown Cafe, as they hosted the 2012 St. Baldrick's fundraiser. The goal was to raise $30,000 on March 18th, instead the final count was $41,150 and growing. Hundreds of parade attendees, local residents, and kind hearted people gathered to shave their heads to raise monies for childhood cancer. The music and live webcasting of the event was provided by the students of OWWR and OWTV, as seen live USTREAM.COM.
