Monday, June 1st, 2009 marked the first official day in office of State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher. As part of her first day in office, Chancellor Zimpher held a press conference in which she outlined a statewide tour of the entire SUNY System. Chancellor Zimpher describes her upcoming tour of the 64 SUNY campuses as a serious step one in strategic planning for the SUNY system. Chancellor Zimpher intends to develop a strategic plan that will outline the goals and aspirations of the SUNY system for the next five to ten years.
