The Old Westbury College Foundation, Inc. has received a $100,000 commitment of support for SUNY College at Old Westbury’s growing Community Engagement and Partnership Center from the Keyspan Foundation.
Being made available in $25,000 increments over the next four years, the grant provides operational support for the Center, including funds for ongoing curriculum and program development, assessment of the program, and a common reading workshop for all first-year students of the College.
This grant also enables the Foundation and College to meet the challenge issued in 2006 by Mrs. Amy Hagedorn, who made possible the initiation of CEPC with her four-year $500,000 commitment.
