Televisa is one of the world’s most well known conglomerates it promotes numerous channels, and ways of life. The people that tune in to this network know what to expect. It promotes not only a way of life but a culture as well. Some of the many channels are Clásico TV, De Película, De Película, Clásico, Ritmoson Latino, These are soap operas, comedy and children’s channels.
This media conglomerate has been around for quite awhile, and now they are trying to expand. It seems only proper that they are trying to do so because they have followers worldwide. Now they will only have more, they recently have jumped on the ban wagon and joined Twitter. They have many followers who want to know what their favorite network is doing 24/7 and with this new type of media outlet they are able too.

Many of their followers are now able to watch video clips of favorite shows and networks as well as what is happening in Mexico on, Facebook. BBC has now signed with Televisa making it a “landmark partnership”. Televisa is the second largest media company in the Spanish –Speaking world, states the BBC. With the BBC obtaining a whole channel they will now have globally owned CBeebies, a child’s channel that will reach children in Europe, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, India and South Korea
