SUNY Community Get Your Vaccines!

Student Health Services is sponsoring Maxim Health Systems incorporated, to administer vaccines to staff and students. The vaccines offered are: Flu Shots $35, Pneumovax $40, and Meningitis $125. Payment is only accepted in exact cash amount or money order.

Vaccine day will take place on Wednesday, October 15th, from 1 until 5p.m., upstairs in the Student Union Conference Room A.

The Asian Club and Multicultural Society "End of the Year Trip"

Cherryblossom The Asian Club and the Multicultural Society will be having its end of the year trip to see the Cherry Blossom festival in the Botanical Gardens located in the Bronx on Friday May 2.  Students will meet at 10:00am in the Campus Center, Room I-202.  There will be food and giveaways for students who attend!

School's Out Comedy Night

Devitobg The close of the collegiate school year will be a cause for comedy as the Auxiliary Services Corporation of SUNY College at Old Westbury presents “School’s Out Comedy Night” on Thursday, May 8, at 8 p.m. in the John & Lillian Maguire Theater.

The evening will feature Joe DeVito, who appeared on NBC-TV’s “Last Comic Standing,” Andrew Kennedy, who has appeared on Comedy Central, and Rodney Lane of Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend.”  Support for the event is being provided by the College’s student Computer Club and Chartwells.

General admission to the event is $10 ($2 for students of SUNY College at Old Westbury).  Tickets can be purchased at the office of the Auxiliary Service Corporation, located in Room H-425 of the Campus Center.

Student Activities Annual Leadership Awards

Remember to RSVP for the Student Activities Annual Leadership Awards which will take place Sunday, May 4, at 7pm.  The evening will include dinner, dancing, awards and a special presentation of funds raised by students at the Up 'til Dawn program to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  The Office of Student Activities is proud to recognize the achievements of student leaders, recognized clubs and Greek-letter organizations as well as those staff and administrators who have dedicated their time to working with and supporting student programming. American Studies Club goes to Sagamore Hill

Tr The American Studies Club is taking a trip to Sagamore Hill National Park.  Sagamore Hill was the Long Island home of Theodore Roosevelt--his primary residence--and also features themes about his life and his presidency.  The trip will take place on Sunday, May 4th and will leave from the front of the student union at 9:30 a.m. A picnic lunch at the park will be held after the trip.
