On Tuesday, September 27th, at the SUNY College at Old Westbury as a part of The Visiting Scholars Series, author Sonia Nazario visited the college to discuss her best selling book Enrique's Journey. Enrique's Journey is about a young boy from Honduras who makes the difficult journey from his hometown Tegucigalpa to the United States to be reunited with his mother. The series was sponsored by the Hispanic/Latino Cultural Center, and the C.A.L.L. programs at the college.
