The 4th Annual 2011 Student MAC Awards Webcasts LIVE from the SUNY College at Old Westbury!

The “4^th Annual 2011 Student MAC Awards”, is Wednesday, May 4^th, 2011, 7 pm, at the Campus Center, in the Maguire Theatre, at the SUNY College at Old Westbury.  The MAC Awards recognize the achievements of the SUNY College at Old Westbury students in the fields of Journalism, Television, Digital Arts, Video, New Media and Radio. Visit on-line at www.MACAwards.org, for all the latest MAC Awards  news, and to preview the works from all nominees this year. 

The “4^th Annual 2011 Student MAC Awards”, will be streamed live for the first time on-line at www.ustream.com, keyword OWTV starting at 6:30 pm for our “Red Carpet Ceremony”, as the nominees make their way into the Maguire Theatre. Then, at 7 pm the MAC Awards take center stage with a live webcast from the theatre with all the action, including live student performances.  

Nominees are chosen by faculty, and all the works are judged by professionals in the field.
