On Thursday, October 7th, 2010, The SUNY College at Old Westbury's President, Dr. Calvin O. Butts III, held a Town Hall Meeting. Dr. Butts updated the community with the state of the College, and actively participated with attendees with an open and lively discussion of the steps, "we must take to preserve our strengths and continue fulfilling our promise as a great institution".
